Double Opt-in Registration
Our definition of Double Opt-in Registration:
The practice of sending a confirmation email to panel registrants, who are then required to respond to verify their interest in participating in the survey. This process was developed in 2000 by Authentic Response, and is widely used by marketers and market researchers.
The Double Opt-in registration process helps to eliminate false opt-ins, lower the risk of being labeled as SPAM; and produces a more engaged research participant.
