Quantitative Research

Our definition of Quantitative Research:

In-depth research seeking empirical evaluations to explain consumer attitudes, behavior, and performances of a pre-determined population/sample. Unlike qualitative research, quantitative research questions tend to be closed and very structured in nature. By definition, quantitative research measurement must be objective, quantitative, and statistically valid. Examples of quantitative research techniques include:

  • Telephone surveys
  • Mail surveys
  • Online surveys
  • In-home use studies
