SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

You will work with software developers and remote technical and operational resources to evaluate and test new or modified software programs.

• Write and execute manual and automated test cases
• Ability to logically and systematically analyze and solve software problems
• Define scope and objectives for complex quality testing projects.
• Ability to express technical concepts and procedures clearly, precisely, and in easy to understand information, verbally and in writing
• Develop and implement detailed, tactical project plans, goals and objectives for complex projects (includes designing, creating, and maintaining functional and integration test cases).
• Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends solutions to a diverse range of complex software testing problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices (includes software and technical documentation solutions).
• Identify and record defects with sufficient information for issue to be reproduced by development team. Collaborate with development team to reproduce issues.
• Lead test case review sessions.
• Good interpersonal/customer relations

• 2+ years experience with software testing
• 1+ years experience with Java build and deploy tools
• 1+ years experience with selenium or other automated testing tools
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Perl preferred.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environment preferred
• Exposure to Oracle and PL/SQL preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
